Islamic ways to fall in love with your life
السلام عليكم friend,
I think sometimes we make “a good life” far more complicated than it needs to be.
We think we need more money, more success, the perfect marriage, a bigger home, a better body, more opportunities...
And yes, there is nothing wrong with wanting more.
But what if you could actually fall in love with the life you already have while still working towards the life you want?
For me, Islam gives us such a beautiful foundation for this.
Here are 5 things I believe can completely change how you experience your life:
1. Pray your five salah on time.
I promise you, the barakah and peace you get from building your life around salah is unmatched.
Stop treating salah like something you have to squeeze into your day.
Build your day around Allah first.
There is something deeply grounding about knowing that five times a day, no matter what is happening in your life, you return to Him.
2. Read the Qur'an every single day.
Even if it's just one page.
You don't need to finish a whole juz every day.
Just show up.
Because if you don't make time for Allah, how can you expect your heart to feel connected to Him?
Sometimes we are looking everywhere for peace, clarity and guidance when the Qur'an is already sitting on our shelf.
Open it.
Even for a few minutes.
3. Stop postponing your life.
Don't tell yourself:
“I'll be happy when I make more money.”
“When my business takes off.”
“When I lose weight.”
“When everything finally feels sorted.”
You are allowed to enjoy the life Allah has given you while still working towards more.
Go for the walk.
Make the nice meal.
Spend time with the people you love.
Enjoy your children.
Take yourself somewhere beautiful.
You don't have to earn the right to enjoy your life.
4. Stop comparing your rizq to someone else's.
Someone else's life is not your measuring stick.
Their marriage, money, business, home, followers, opportunities...
None of it was written for you.
And what Allah has written for you does not become less because someone else received something before you.
Take your means.
Work hard.
Make dua.
But stop torturing yourself by constantly checking whether you're “behind.”
5. Build unshakable tawakkul.
Because life will never be completely predictable.
Plans will change.
Doors will close.
People will disappoint you.
You won't always know what is coming next.
And that doesn't mean you have to live in fear.
You can take the means.
You can make the effort.
You can make the dua.
And then leave the outcome to Allah.
That is tawakkul.
If anxiety, overthinking and uncertainty are making it difficult for you to actually live your life, I created my 1:1 Tawakkul Mentorship to help you work through these patterns practically, so you can take action, let go of what you can't control, and build deeper trust in Allah.
If you feel like you need personalised support, you can book 6 weeks of private mentorship with me.
As a little token of love, I'm offering you 10% off with code: “TAWAKKUL100”

May Allah give us hearts that are able to take the means, do our part, and then truly leave the outcome to Him. Ameen. 🤍
With love and dua,
Noorain
